In 1987, after finishing what would be his final season as a Professional Football Player, Trent J Collins join the Prudential Insurance Company of America and their started a financial services career that would span 25 years. His new career started out as a variable contracts, life /Health, and Series 63 License Agent. A few years later, Trent  joined  CIGNA Employee Benefits and learned the managed care and employee benefits business and the Government Healthcare Division. In 1998 Trent rejoined Prudential Securities Inc. and became a financial advisor (Graduating #1 in his class & obtaining series: 7, 65, 24 securities licenses).  He  focused a great deal of his efforts on institutional clients. In 2003, Trent started his own company, using AIG as Broker/Dealer. In 2007, he joined California Bank & Trust as a Business Banker. He obtained the exclusive performance based "Presidential Performer Ranking" in record time.  Trent transition to Wells Fargo Business Banking Group as a Commercial Loan Officer and 3 years later decided to give his entrepreneurial spirit another shot. It has proven to be his best decision yet.
The experience and interpersonal skills Trent possess makes him a highly valued expert in his field.  His candid round edges elicits a respect and willingness to utilize creative conventional and non conventional strategies.

Steve retired from active construction management in January 2013 after more than 15 years serving Public Works Owners who utilized small businesses to complete their projects. Those projects involved residential sound insulation programs at airports across the country.  He was the Senior Construction Manager for both O’Hare and Midway Airport’s Residential sound Insulation Program until 2004. That program was the largest in the USA, completing more than 1000 homes each year. He became the Senior Construction Manager for the Jones-Payne Group in Boston, initiating his CM concepts for them on a national basis, prior to accepting the CM position at San Diego. By his own admission, he came to San Diego for, “The weather (and golf)”.

Steve is currently serving as an adjunct faculty member at the New school of Architecture + Design in San Diego where he teaches in the Construction Management Department. He is bringing real world experiences to the classroom for tomorrow’s building professionals. He is affiliated with the San Diego chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute and served four terms on the Board of Directors. He currently works with their certification program for professional development.

He has firsthand knowledge of the challenges small contractors face regarding financing, working    capital needs and the ever present need for completing the “paper work” on time. His insights and methods of contract administration are critical in placing a contractor squarely on the road to success.
